![]() ![]() So far you are the only one who has acknowledged what I think is a bug. If you know how to post a screen shot or video please do so to the attention of the Developers. I have asked the question on the other pages but have never found that it is no longer active. Now if the red arc and circles are no longer part of the quest, fine, but they could have at least told me that. I confess I do not know how to comply with their request. I posted this "problem" a while back and as I've stated the Developers responded asking for a screen shot or video. I agree with what your saying that the quest does work, but there has always been a red arc as you got closer to the objective and then the mines were circled in red. The quest does however work and I can get the reward. If there is suppose to be any further indicator of mines, that doesnt work. Without the sonar you cant see the mines at all. Considering buying Anno 1800, but its not all that cheap, and I already got Cities Skylines which I love. I can however see the mines floating when I zoom in and I can avoid them. I also never see any red arc or circled mines at all with my sonar. Everything before Docklands, keep it 1800. Definitely broken mechanic, but the quest does work. ![]() If you know how to take a video and post it on twitch maybe the Developers will take note. There is obviously something wrong with the I, Me, Mine quest. The problem is that this game has set a high bar in both presentation and gameplay that it will be hard to surpass and making all those attempts kinda worthless. it's suppose to also show a red arc if there are mines in the area and the mines are circled in red.but if your having the same problem I had they will not show this does not happen.and your right the normal location markers are not visible so you have to sail around until you pick up the yellow arcs then approach the area while looking for the mines. The issue is that when I try them, Anno 1800 still feels superior in both gameplay and graphics. Money becomes irrelevant very quickly, influence becomes irrelevant soon enough too although its a lot harder with hardest settings. Apart from the amount of influence anything else is just a matter of time and effort on higher difficulty. The transponder will show a yellow arc when your close to a possible site. I find the 'difficulty' for the most part simply means that everything is slower. By the time the quest came along again they had removed my post. The Dev's responded and wanted a video or screen shot. I can just recommend to play with less AIs for all people out there who also tend to restart at certain points, having more time to think about the next moves feels like a true gamechanger to me and will allow you to discover the whole content without being stressed out.Originally posted by kmmacman:I have this problem and posted it awhile back. But for now I am just happy to finally have time to enter the endgame. Once I played all of the existing content (meaning all season passes, including the latest DLC) I will probably start a game with more difficult AI. On my new savegame I only enabled two 1-star AIs and for the first time ever I can explore the game in my own pace.įor the first time ever I have enough time to check out all of the DLCs, to build my islands way more beautiful and to ensure that all needs are covered. I know many of you enjoy the challenge of playing with 3-star AIs, but I found it always very distracting and annoying to fight against the AI. Today I just found out that I enjoy Anno 1800 WAY more without wars and battles, because it allows me to fully concentrate on optimizing supply chains.
